Christine Wanifuchi has over 30 years of corporate and nonprofit experience and currently is the Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Pacific Development Center, which provides an integrated system of care including primary care, behavioral health, victims’ advocacy, adult education, and youth programs. Christine graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Regis University. In 2002, she was selected as a Colorado Trust Fellow and earned her Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management with honors and completed the Nonprofit Management Fellows Program at Regis University.
Some of Christine’s current community involvement includes the Colorado Asian Health Alliance, the Kempe Foundation, Aurora’s Gang Reduction Impact Program, Aurora’s Immigrant and Refugee Task Force, and the Colorado Behavioral Health Council. She has previously been involved with Denver’s Commission on Aging, the Denver Mayor’s Asian Advisory Council, the Asian Roundtable of Colorado, the Aurora Asian Pacific Community Partnership, Aurora@Home, the White House Initiative for Asian Pacific Islanders, the Colorado Multi-Ethnic Cultural Consortium, and Groundwork Denver.
