Dr. Bremer is the Executive Director of Behavioral Health at Colorado Access, the Regional Accountable Care Organization (RCCO) for Denver, East Metro Denver, and Northeast Colorado, and the Behavioral Health Organization for Denver and the Northeast. Dr. Bremer has been with Colorado Access since 1999 and served as the Behavioral Health Quality Manager and the Deputy Director of Access Behavioral Care before becoming the Executive Director of Behavioral Health in 2009. He was previously an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado and has worked as a clinician at the Mental Health Center of Denver. He served for five years as a member of the Executive Committee of the Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Dr. Bremer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Ohio State University, a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Colorado Christian University, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Science from the University of Colorado Denver. He completed his postdoctoral work at the University of Pittsburgh.
