Jessica began serving as the Executive Director of Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics (RMYC), a pediatric primary care practice, in June 2014. Before coming to RMYC, she worked for three years as the Director of Eligibility for Connect for Health Colorado where she was part of the leadership team that directed the design, development and implementation of Colorado’s health insurance exchange. Prior to the Exchange, Jessica worked as a senior research analyst at the Colorado Health Institute (CHI) for five years. In this position, she worked collaboratively with providers and researchers to build a Safety Net Indicators and Monitoring System for Colorado and she worked on various research and evaluation projects to support health foundations and communities working to respond to the health care needs of their residents. She also supported the early development of the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO) that aims to support the health care delivery system through the sharing of secure electronic health information while working at CHI. Earlier in her career, Jessica worked on an integrated care team to support pregnant teens at the Colorado Adolescent Maternity Program and she spent several years at the Mental Health Center of Denver working as a clinical case manager. She is passionate about expanding health care access across the state and designing systems that offer high quality, integrated services so kids and families can lead healthy lives.
She holds a BS in Psychology and a BA in Religious Studies from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California and a Master of Science in Public Health degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
