Kimberly McDevitt

Regional Health Connector

Kim grew up in Denver, in the Sunnyside and Capitol Hill neighborhoods. She has a deep interest in helping vulnerable communities embrace their strengths and thrive. In 2010, Kim graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Philosophy, with a concentration in Values & Social Policy. She worked as a Business Analyst for several years prior to earning her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2020.

In January 2021 Kim co-founded a small non-profit low to no barriers food rescue and outreach center in Aurora to help reach community members struggling to access resources. The community itself showed us as a resource, dropping off food and clothing donations for others, spreading the word to people in need, and becoming social supports for each other – a powerful example of the strength in community. Kim wants to see that strength grow across the Denver Metro area.

During her free time Kim enjoys spoiling her dogs, spending time with good friends, and attempting to find the tastiest al pastor taco in the Denver Metro area
