Tori is originally from Mcallen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley and is a passionate advocate for health equity. She received her B.A. in Mexican-American and Latino Studies from the University of Texas at Austin before moving to Colorado in 2018. She received her Master of Public Health in Health Systems Management and Policy from the Colorado School of Public Health in 2020.
Tori has worked in a wide variety of public health and non-profit settings. Some of her previous roles include responding to COVID-19 with Denver Health’s case investigation team, working at farms and farmers markets in the metro area, and collaborating on health care projects with Health Management Associates. She enjoys meeting new community members and has interests in public health and food access.
In her spare time, Tori likes to be outdoors gardening, hiking, and spending time with her dog Taki. Tori resides in Broomfield.
